The Art of Creating Noble Spaces®

“When someone asks about my work, I describe it as Creating Noble Spaces®. To me, a noble space isn't necessarily a fancy one; it's a place that empowers and supports me in all my endeavors. I believe that's what we all hope our spaces can do for us.”

-Tammy Randall Wood, Founder and Principal of Interior Archaeology

Our projects

What does the design process look like?

It all begins with a conversation! We offer a complimentary 15-minute phone call to learn more about your project, answer initial questions, and determine whether we're the right fit for your needs.

When you book an Initial Design Consultation with us—whether in-person or virtual—you'll share your project goals, helping us understand your unique vision. Along with a walk-through, this discussion allows us to provide immediate input and assess the scope of design work needed to achieve those goals.

Regardless of whether your project involves a ground-up build, a large-scale remodel, or simply furnishing a space, our structured approach guides the design process through each stage, from creation to completion, with reliable precision.

Once we have a clear understanding of your project’s nature, we will create a Design Labor Proposal. This proposal is a customized, detailed document that outlines the scope of your project, our plan of execution, and the estimated costs to move forward.

Once your project is initiated, our team will schedule a day to document the existing conditions of your property. This involves measuring, scanning, and photographing all relevant spaces. From this documentation, we will create photorealistic designs that will be shared during the presentation. This process ensures that both your expectations and our vision for the project are accurately captured and prepared for execution.

It’s all about you, not us

We share your enthusiasm for the design process and are dedicated to getting to know you, your tastes, and how you wish to use your spaces. Our focus is on you, the client. Through this lens, we become your editor, designing functional spaces that weave together an aesthetic that feels authentic to you.

    Project management

We understand that the execution phase can be overwhelming. At Interior Archaeology, we offer a comprehensive service that extends beyond design to include all aspects of project management. Whether we’re tracking your orders, maintaining communication with contractors and subs or overseeing installations, our clients can relax knowing that our team is handling the heavy lifting.
